Where do students, freelancers, entrepreneurs and media enthusiasts meet to spend a weekend exchanging ideas, networking and learning from each other?
At our Media BarCamp at the STUDIOPARK Children's Media Centre in Erfurt, of course!
Topics
This year, our participants once again brought many exciting topics and ideas to the table, such as:
💻 How to become self-employed?
🚀 The future of the East: Is anything happening there?
✨ AI in the artistic process, or
🎮 VR gaming and media education
You can see which sessions were included in the session schedule here. For the kids, there was a valuable media education programme in cooperation with KiKA from ARD and ZDF – including actors from Schloss Einstein and a look behind the scenes of Team Timster.
Impetus for media policy: MENT MasterClasses
A special highlight: our MENT MasterClasses were held for the first time – six powerful panels on current challenges and perspectives in the following areas:
- Media education
- Skilled workers
- Film production
- Local journalism
- Games
- Thuringia as a centre for children's media
Over the next few days, we will be sharing some of the most exciting insights from these panels here in the news section – stay tuned!
Thank you!
As a network, this open, cross-generational and cross-industry format is particularly close to our hearts. It also shows that balancing family and career is possible if you are willing to make it work as an organiser. 🫰🏻
A big thank you to all session leaders, participants, partners and supporters: STUDIOPARK KinderMedienZentrum, Thuringian State Chancellery, Thuringian State Media Authority, Aelius Förderwerk e.V., KiKA from ARD and ZDF, GeistRaum, DIE Digitalmacherei, erna Erfurter EngagementAgentur, dm am Anger, NoCoffee, Stefan Wöpke
