Review of the MENT General Meeting and Board Election 2025

What happened at MENT in 2025? What are the strategies for 2026? These and other topics were discussed at our general meeting. In addition, the new board was elected.

We look back with great gratitude on this year's general meeting, which took place on 12 November at the [ka:te:] Café in Erfurt. A total of 47 members participated in person and online – a strong sign of the commitment and solidarity within our community.

A successful MENT year 2025 in review

Together, we looked back on an eventful and successful year 2025. Many milestones, events and initiatives were made possible thanks to the active participation of our members. At the same time, we took the opportunity to gather initial ideas and priorities for the coming year 2026.

Record participation in the board election

A particular highlight of the general meeting was the board election. With 10 candidates, we set a new participation record. We would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who stood for election and thus demonstrated their willingness to play an active role in shaping MENT.

Introducing the new MENT board

We are delighted to announce our new board: Katrin Weikart, Henryk Balkow, Susanne Aßmann, Mahsa Nejadfallah and Kai Schöttle will take over the management of MENT in the coming years. We introduced all five of them in detail on our Instagram channel, so that you can find out more about their motivation, their visions and their planned priorities.

Looking forward to the end of the year and 2026

With the upcoming TeleVisionale, we are approaching the end of the year – another occasion to come together and round off the year in style. At the same time, we are looking ahead and looking forward to an exciting, inspiring and eventful MENT year in 2026.
