From storytelling to studio production: Festive conclusion of our MENT Media Class 2025
For two weeks, media students from Thuringia immersed themselves in the various trades of the media world. Now they presented their results and networked at MENT to Match.

Ceremonial conclusion: The students also take charge of the presentation and moderation themselves.

What do a Wild West thriller, a Tinder date comedy and a photo reportage about the Erfurt weekly market have in common? 🤔 All this and more was on display on 22 September as part of the festive final presentation of our MENT Media Class 2025. For two weeks, 25 media students from Thuringian universities once again took advantage of the opportunity to immerse themselves in the various trades of the media world in ten workshops – and, above all, to put their own projects into practice. 🎬 🎧 🗞️
Guided by experienced lecturers, the participants produced their own podcasts, programmed VR worlds, and developed and marketed start-up ideas, which they then presented to the audience.
New: Networking at MENT to Match 🚀
For the first time, there was also the opportunity to get in touch with potential employers directly afterwards: at our MENT to Match event with representatives from eight companies and academies in the region.
We would like to thank...
...the Thuringian State Chancellery and State Secretary Stephan König for their support and trust in showing students the diverse opportunities and career prospects in the (regional) media industry through our MENT Media Class.
...the team at STUDIOPARK KinderMedienZentrum for their long-standing cooperation and provision of the premises.
...our fantastic project manager Susanne Aßmann and project assistant Johanna Medentsev. ...the Thuringian universities.
...the lecturers and representatives of the companies and institutions at our MENT to Match event.
And now we wish our alumni all the best for their future careers in the colourful world of (Thuringian) media! 🥳
