What is Creators Camp?

Creators Camp is our successor to the Medien BarCamp Erfurt. Over the course of a weekend, young people can actively help shape media whilst gaining insights into creative and media-related career paths.

However, the Creators Camp sees itself not merely as an event, but as an open community format. Alongside workshops, sessions and media projects, spaces for interaction, collaborative processes and participation play a central role.

Who is the Creators Camp for?

Creators Camp is primarily aimed at children and young people aged between 5 and 15. A second target group comprises people from the media industry (e.g. from the fields of content creation, journalism, film production, gaming and media education) as well as from the worlds of culture, academia and communication.

When will Creators Camp take place?

The first Creators Camp is expected to take place in Erfurt in May 2027.
